Radioactive waste is managed on three sites in Wales, that include:
- the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) Magnox reactor station sites at Trawsfynydd and Wylfa – the former is shut down and being decommissioned, the latter is operational; and
- GE Healthcare’s Maynard Centre at Cardiff.
