Calder Hall
Calder Hall is located on the Sellafield site in Cumbria. It was the world’s first commercial nuclear power station and started generating electricity in 1956. Generation ceased in 2003. It is expected that defuelling of the four reactors will be undertaken between 2011 and 2015.
