Dungeness
There are two adjacent nuclear power station sites at Dungeness:
- Dungeness A;
- Dungeness B.
Dungeness A
Dungeness A comprises of two Magnox reactors that generated electricity from 1965 till 2006. Defuelling of the twin reactors was scheduled to commence in 2007 and to be completed in 2009.

Dungeness B
Dungeness B comprises of two operating Advanced Gas-Cooled Reactors (AGR) that became operational in 1983. It is expected that the station will continue generating electricity up to 2018.
