Credible options
The NDA is continuing to examine the strategic options associated with the disposition of exotic fuels. A range of studies and research activities is being undertaken in conjunction with site licensees to explore the storage, transport and treatment options that provide the optimised lifecycle approach for these materials.

Future work programme
A detailed time table for Exotic fuel disposition is under development consistent with the NDA’s Strategy Management System. The delivery of individual exotic fuel disposition plans will vary depending on their maturity and urgency of need. A detailed programme will be published in due course.
