The NDA and its SLCs are collaborating to organise a first-ever joint event for existing and potential suppliers.
The supply chain event, in Bolton, Lancashire, on 21st November, will provide a rare opportunity to engage with all the SLCs together and aims to promote smaller businesses having greater visibility of our decommissioning market.
The initiative follows two recent workshops, held to look at possible measures that would support Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) seeking decommissioning opportunities.
At the event, to be held at the De Vere Whites Hotel, senior figures from the NDA and the SLCs will outline their vision for the supply chain and the role of collaborative procurement.
Engagement with the SME community will also be one of the topics in the spotlight, while 'Meet the Buyer' sessions will allow for discussion of potential contract opportunities.
