Arrangements and processes for local stakeholder engagement
During 2008 the NDA reviewed the guidance given to Site Stakeholder Groups (SSGs) on their operation and remit. The aim was to make the guidance as consistent and helpful as possible across all UK sites.
SSGs were closely involved in both structuring the review and drafting the new guidance, as well as deciding on key issues such as the remuneration for Chairs.
The new guidance came into force on 1 April 2009:
