Bradwell power station an area of 20 hectares covered by the nuclear site licence, this power station operated from 1962 until 2002 when it ceased electricity generation. Defuelling completed in 2006.
Work continues to prepare this site for entry into Care and Maintenance.

* The costs of discharging the nuclear liability will be incurred over a significant period of time. To take account of the time value of money, the costs are "discounted" back to a present value.
