NDA Statement on Support for Sellafield Ltd Management Team

In light of the forthcoming departure of the Sellafield Programme Director, Mark Dixon*, the importance of the site to the NDA estate and the advanced nature of the competition for a new parent body - a small team of senior managers led by Divisional Director Assurance, Jim Morse will support Barry Snelson and the Sellafield Ltd executive team through the transition period as a preferred bidder emerges from the competition process now nearing its conclusion.
Jim Morse will take over the lead interface role with Sellafield Ltd in April and carry on for approximately 6 months until a new parent body for Sellafield is in place.
This action demonstrates the high level of support being given by the NDA to the Sellafield management team and will ensure that clear channels of communication remain in place between the two organisations.
* Mark Dixon is leaving the NDA to be the Fleet Services Director and Deputy Managing Director at Babcock Naval Services at Faslane.
