Cumbrian Councils vote on the MRWS process

30 January 2013

Allerdale and Copeland Borough Councils voted in favour of remaining in the Managing Radioactive Waste Safely (MRWS) programme to find a practicable long-term solution for the UK's higher activity radioactive wastes, but Cumbria County Council voted to withdraw.
