Nick Baldwin is NDA Chairman

Nick Baldwin has been appointed Chairman of the NDA for six months following Sir Anthony Cleaver's retirement on 31 July 2007. A chartered Engineer, FIEE, and FIMechE, he has been a Non Executive Director of the NDA since October 2004.
His early career was with Thames Water and the Central Electricity Generating Board. He joined Powergen in 1989 and became Chief Executive in 2001.
Since leaving Powergen he has become a Non Executive Director of Scottish & Southern Energy plc and the Forensic Science Service. He also has Chairman roles with the Public Weather Service Customer Group and Worcester Community Housing.
The post of NDA Chairman is a public appointment and recruitment is handled by DBERR.
