Introduction

The NDA Radioactive Waste Management Directorate (RWMD) – formerly Nirex – bibliography comprises documents generated from research programmes related to the management of radioactive wastes. This includes

• General interest documents e.g. Annual Reports and Accounts, introductory texts on radioactive waste management.
• Reports that reflect research results that passed a formally documented review and approval procedure before release into the public domain.
• Contractors' reports prepared by contractors under formally documented quality assurance procedures. These may not have not been formally reviewed or approved for use by the commissioning body.
• Other documents written by Nirex and now NDA staff or its contractors e.g. journal or conference articles for external publication. These are generally subject to peer review by the conference organisers/editorial staff of the publication concerned. Due to the copyright constraints of externally published documents we may be unable to supply copies but they should be available through inter-library loans.
