Publication of NDA tender documentation
In accordance with the Government's commitment on Transparency, the NDA is committed to publish tender documentation when the minimum threshold whole life contract value is £10,000 (net of recoverable VAT) and above. This commitment is not retrospective and applies to tender documentation related to new procurement activity for the supply of goods, services and works where the formal procurement process commences from 1 September 2010.
Tenders and contracts will be published on 'Contracts Finder', which will be available from 11th February 2011. Contracts Finder is the government's single platform providing access to public sector procurement related information and documentation, including the facility to publish both tender and contract documents in a single place.
As part of the tendering process, when submitting their bids, suppliers will be given the opportunity to identify which pieces of information they regard as being sensitive and would not want published. Suppliers should be aware of and understand these requirements with regards to publishing contracts and the implications this will have.
We will publish details of those tenders over £10,000 currently active within the NDA and NDA Radioactive Waste Management Directorate (RWMD).
