The NDA's Internal Procurement teams are responsible for the procurement of all goods and services required to  deliver the NDA's operations throughout the United Kingdom. The procurement teams are based at our Headquarters in West Cumbria and also at Harwell in Oxfordshire.

The procurement schedule sets out the NDA's planned procurements for the next couple of years however, NDA shall review the schedule from time to time and we therefore reserve the right to amend the schedule accordingly.

Priority Measures and Transparency

To comply with government regulations surrounding priority measures and transparent procurement, we use the following stepped sourcing approach when sourcing goods and services:

Step 1		Contracts that are awarded by departments/public bodies for utilisation by the wider public sector.
Step 2		Framework Contracts awarded by Government Procurement Service or other procurement hubs for utilisation by the wider public sector  http://gps.cabinetoffice.gov.uk

All opportunities which are advertised through the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) via Tenders Electronically Daily (TED) will automatically be published within Contracts Finder.  

All procurements within the public sector are subject to European Commission (EC) Treaty principles of non-discrimination, equal treatment and transparency.
