Priority Measures and Transparency
To comply with government regulations surrounding priority measures and transparent procurement, we use the following stepped sourcing approach when sourcing goods and services:
|Step 1||Contracts that are awarded by departments/public bodies for utilisation by the wider public sector.|
Framework Contracts awarded by Government Procurement Service or other procurement hubs for utilisation by the wider public sector
New procurement opportunities with a cumulative value of over £10,000
New procurement opportunities with a cumulative value over the current EU threshold
All opportunities which are advertised through the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) via Tenders Electronically Daily (TED) will automatically be published within Contracts Finder.
All procurements within the public sector are subject to European Commission (EC) Treaty principles of non-discrimination, equal treatment and transparency.
Further information on priority measures and transparency can be obtained from http://www.cabinetoffice.gov.uk
