Our People
We employ over 300 people. In addition to expertise from the nuclear industry, these people bring skills from engineering, finance, the civil service and consultancy.
The NDA Board
- sets out the strategic framework and direction within which the NDA operates; and
- is responsible for ensuring high standards of corporate governance are observed.
The day to day management of the NDA is delegated by the Board to the Business Management Board, comprising the Chief Executive Officer and other Directors.
NDA Board Members
The Secretary of State for the Department of Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform in consultation with the Scottish Ministers appoints the Chairman of the Board.
The Board consists of eight non-executive directors, including the Chairman, and five executive directors.

NDA Board Meetings
The NDA Board meets monthly, except for August.
We publish Board meeting minutes after they have been approved by the Board. We provide access to minutes from the previous year on this website.
