Geological Disposal Consultations Launched
The NDA has published consultation documents on its framework for stakeholder engagement and communication during development of the geological disposal facility; and proposals for sustainability appraisal and environmental assessment as part of implementing geological disposal.

Annual Report 2007/08 laid before Parliament
NDA has today laid its 2007/08 Annual Report & Accounts before Parliament.
John's most recent role before coming to the NDA was Managing Director of International Nuclear Services Limited. In this role he managed the transition of INS from a subsidiary of Sellafield Limited to a wholly owned subsidiary of the NDA.
John has more than 25 years experience of working in the nuclear industry. A Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers, his early career involved a range of roles in the design, development, commissioning and operation of nuclear fuel processing plants. A member of the Sellafield Limited Executive Team for eight years, John spent five years as Head of EHSQ , followed by three years as Director of Production where he was accountable for the majority of operational activities at Sellafield.
