We are seeking views on:
Three consultations on Geological Disposal until 30 November 2008, which include strategies for:
- research and development
- stakeholder engagement and communications framework
- framework for sustainability appraisal and environmental assessment
Will the NDA be considering building new nuclear power stations?
The NDA has a very clear remit which is limited to decommissioning and clean up plus running existing designated operational facilities efficiently and effectively until operational activity ceases. Building new nuclear power stations is nothing to do with the NDA and is a matter for the Government.
