Our Consultations
We are currently seeking views on:
Strategic Environmental Assessment Assessment until 11 September 2008;
Proposed Supply Chain Development Strategy until end of September 2008;
Plutonium Options until 8 October 2008; and
Three consultations on Geological Disposal until 30 November 2008, which include strategies for:
- research and development
- stakeholder engagement and communications framework
- framework for sustainability appraisal and environmental assessment
Why is competition a key objective?
Developing competitive markets for clean up contracts will help to stimulate innovation and improvements in safety and operating standards and enable us to make the best possible use of the best available skills. By improving operational efficiency, competition should also increase value for money.
