We are currently seeking views on:
Strategic Environmental Assessment Assessment until 11 September 2008;
Proposed Supply Chain Development Strategy until end of September 2008;
Plutonium Options until 8 October 2008; and
Three consultations on Geological Disposal until 30 November 2008, which include strategies for:
- research and development
- stakeholder engagement and communications framework
- framework for sustainability appraisal and environmental assessment
Why does the NDA approve certain high value projects?
The NDA needs to have visibility of high value or high impact projects, to allow it to ensure that these support NDA’s medium to long term objectives. NDA is in a unique position of being able to take an overview of projects at all its sites, which means that it can support industry wide initiatives.
