Our Consultations
We are currently seeking views on:
Strategic Environmental Assessment Assessment until 11 September 2008;
Proposed Supply Chain Development Strategy until end of September 2008;
Plutonium Options until 8 October 2008; and
Three consultations on Geological Disposal until 30 November 2008, which include strategies for:
- research and development
- stakeholder engagement and communications framework
- framework for sustainability appraisal and environmental assessment
How often will our Strategy be revised?
Our current strategy was published in March 2006. The Energy Act 2004 requires us to review Our Strategy at least every five years.
We will shortly begin reviewing our Strategy and aim to consult on a revised draft Strategy ("Strategic Plan") 2010/11.
We are currently developing a new Strategy Management System that will underpin our approach to strategy development. We will post more details regarding the Strategy Management System on the website in the coming months.
