The building of new nuclear power stations will increase the waste to be dealt with, how will this affect the geological disposal facility?

Following consultation, the Business Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (BERR) White Paper on Nuclear Power sets out that Government considers that it would be technically possible and desirable to dispose of both new and legacy waste in the same geological disposal facility.
